haworthia problem

Question
haworthias
haworthias
hi

I have to pups of two species of haworthia .
the left one is attenuata , the other is limifolia

these two pups separated by accident from their mom
they easy separated with no root

are these plants will live?
should I drown them in a rooting hormone or they will roots by their self ? because it is difficult in my country to find this hormone

how much should I water them ?

thanks

Answer
Hi Sara,

They should be okay if you allowed the pups to air-dry for a couple of days before potting them up. The risk of not letting them dry properly is that they sometimes develop fungus infections. Rooting hormone helps fight fungus infections, but is otherwise not essential.

Be sure to provide lots of sunlight and water it only when the potting mix is dry close to where the roots are forming.
