Hi Jef, I have two Aeoniums they are both about 3ft tall, very bushy and getting too hard too handle in the winter, if i prune them down to 1ft will they reshoot, if so when do i prune,hope you can help i do not want to lose them i have had them a long while,  norman

Dear Norman,

Yes, they will regrow, either limbs or heads. Cut to where you want to and you'll have some extra starts to give away.

Aeoniums are winter-growing succulents (usually) so fertilize during their growth cycle.
