mums

Question
i bought me some mums in a 4 inch pot to have on the inside of the house do i need to transplant them in to something biger or do i need to sit them out side

Answer
Mary,

You really need to plant them in the ground outside so they can go dormant and come back up next year and bloom again.  If you just set them outside in the pot and it freezes in your area the roots will freeze and they will die. If you keep them indoors and they do not have a chance to go dormant they will eventually die. In the ground they will come up every year. Good luck.
