If I prune the buds off the aquilegia after the bloom is gone will it continue to bloom throughout the summer?

Hi Regina,
Thanx for your question.  Pruning involves cutting branches off of shrubs or woody perennials.  Deadheading is what is called when one snips off spent blooms or seed pods from a perennial plant such as aquilegia.  The answer is no...aquilegia/columbine will not rebloom simply because one snips off spent blooms or seed pods.  I hope this helps.
