I live in Durham, NC and I have a beautiful bed of low growing lantana. What am I supposed to do to ensure that it winters over and comes back next spring? Do I prune it or not? It is still in full bloom

Hi Betty,
Thanx for your question.  There are now some cultivars of lantana that will overwinter in North Carolina.  Do you know what cultivar you have?  Other Lantana are not reliably hardy in zones colder than Zone 8.  You can always prune back Lantana to keep it neat and eventually it will begin blooming again.  I hope this helps.
