Question
QUESTION: Hi! I was wondering if there were any low growing (preferably flowering) perrenials that you would recommend? I live in southern masschusetts (zone 6-7)

ANSWER: Hi Victor,
Thanx for your question.  Are you looking for full sun, partial sun or shade?  When you say low-growing, how low?
thx,
Tom

QUESTION: Either full sun or part-sun would be ok for my garden. Oh, and by low I mean like only one or two inches tall, kind of like scrambling across the ground.

Answer
Hi Victor,
Thanx for your follow up.  The best I can recommend given your parameters would be a member of the sedum family.  There are many, many varieties that grow low, have low water requirements and they bloom primarily in whites and yellows although you can find some pinks too.  Another plant to consider would be Delosperma genus.  Here is a link to High Country Gardens that you may find useful.  I have used this company before and found them to conduct business reasonably and ethically.

For sedum ground covers.

I hope this helps.
