How do I get starts off of Lamb's ear?

Hi Glenda,
Thanx for you question.  Basically, you can just pull a piece of the plant up or dig it up gently and detach from the rest of the plants.  Plant in full sun.  You can dig the whole clump and divide it up into separate clumps with a sharp knife.  Make sure that you have a good root system on the division.  Best to do this in late summer or early fall.  You can also do it in the spring after the last frost.  I hope this helps.
