pussy willow planting

Question
I received some pussy willow clipping from my sister in-law from Alabama.  I live in Texas.  Anyway, I put them in a vase and they have now rooted nicely, but I do not know how to go about planting them in my yard.  The clipping that I received from her are about 3 ft. long and have rooted in water and put on green foliage at the bottom, as well as the top.  Do I cut these down before transplanting, is this the time of year to do this, and what other advise can you lend??????

Answer
SINCE THE CUTTING ALREADY HAVE FOLIAGE MAKE SURE THERE IS NO MORE CHANCE OF FROST AND PLANT THEM JUST LIKE THEY ARE IN FULL SUN i AM ASSUMING YOU HAVE SLIGHTLY SANDY SOIL SO MAKE SURE YOU KEEP IT WELL WATERED THIS YEAR AND IT SHOULD BE BEAUTIFUL NEXT SEASON
