When to pick foxtail palm seeds.

Question
When is the right time to pick foxtail palm seeds? is it best to wait for them to fall naturally or can they be picked and if so at what stage is best? The seeds are at the moment brown and about three quarters the size of a golf ball. I also notice taht the tree has produced what appears to be two types of seeds on more round than the other.

Answer
Wait until they fall Mark, then be sure to soak them for about a week after scarifying them (cutting into the shell), then plant them in the soil (just barely covering them) and keep the area they are planted very warm...(this is important)..then be patient, it takes up to 3-6 months sometimes for germination, and plant a lot of them, for there will be a low percent that actually germinates.
