Droopy palm

Question
I have about 6 palm trees that I have grown from seeds.  They're about 12 months old.  Some are doing great, standing up tall, with 2 little fronds.  Some, however, don't have any fronds and are dropping/falling over.  I am repotting them now in a new potting mix(1 part african violet potting mix, 1 part vermiculite, and 1 part peat moss), watering well for the first watering and then watering when dry.  They're not brown or yellow.  They're a very pretty green, but they're drooping over. I had some sticks helping to hold them up until I repotted them. What else can I do besides repot into larger pots in a more well draining soil(soil, vermiculite, and peat moss)?

Answer
Kendall, try planting them just a little deeper, it sounds like the roots are are little too elevated and are unable to hold the crown upright; you also may need to use a potting soil, rather then the mixture you are using, this will help hold the roots better. Nick
