Sundew in winter

Question
Hey guys. Well, as you know, dormancy is coming. I am growing my pygmy sundews and my D. regia outside in full sun. Would you recommend that i move them to a different location where they wont get any frost? I can move them next to my highland nepenthes where they can receive 4 hours of direct morning light and no frost during the winter. It still gets pretty cold there, but I would think that the cold wont harm them the same way frost will. Thanks you guys.

Answer
Hi Manny,

While technically the species you have will tolerate a light, brief frost, it's best to protect them from frost altogether.  Otherwise, your plants will need time to recover, depending on the degree of the frost.  So I'd recommend placing them indoors alongside your highland Nepenthes.  These plants also like a fair amount of sunlight.  Four hours of direct sunlight would be the minimum.  Six would be better.

Good growing!
