perrinials?

Question
hello,
i have a kordana rose mini plant and i was wondering as to wether or not they are perrinials. i live in cambridge on so we do get hit with snow. is it safe to leave them outside for the winter or would i need to cover them or bring them indoors for the winter to protet them

Answer
Kordes Kordana roses are tough little plants and can be left outside. If your winter drops below freezing for long periods then simply mound up some soil or mulch to about 8 inches around the base of your rose and it will be okay all winter. This routine should be done the first winter it goes through as many of these Kordanas are grown in a greenhouse. If it was grown in a greenhouse, I have found that once it has been outside for a few months, the shape and even colour of the flowers changes a little.
