Tiny flies in cracks around front door

Question
tiny flies
tiny flies
Hello, I have seen a few small bugs crawling around the door handle to my front door for a while now. Today there are LOTS of them.
Just trying to figure out what they are so I know if they are a problem of sign of a problem.
They are super super tiny, smaller than a regular fruit fly. They scurry into the cracks when I open the front door. I have not seen them actually fly, but I'm guessing they can because they have wings.
This photo is the best I could do. Took it with a macro lens, but it is not autofocus and they are pretty quick.
Any help in IDing them would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Cristina

Answer
Cristina,

These are not flies. They are winged psocids (Psocoptera; barklice). They are harmless and tend to occur in damp, moldy situations. Google barklice for more info. Simply sweep them away if necessary, no insecticides are necessary. Thanks for the excellent photo.
