Hi Matt, I have a 2 year old system ( 5 zones and a well pump ) and recently my K RAIN 1522 Pump start relay makes a loud buzzing noise when the system is on. I wanted to check with you before I start replacing anything. Thank You, Mike Franze

The chances are good the relay is going bad. Usually, the loud buzzing noise is the first indicator.
On rare occasions it does indicate low voltage, but I don't think that's the problem here.
I suggest replacing it soon. Sometimes when a relay goes bad they burn off one side of the power. Instead of getting 220 volts the pump only get 110 volt. That could cost you a pump.
