Rain Dial transformer

Question
My Rain Dial model 600/900/or 1200 stopped working after a power outage. Everything came back on except the sprinklers. I put in a new 9 volt battery (no luck) I plugged the transformer into a working outlet and still no luck. Do I need a new transformer and where can I buy it?

Answer
Hey Chuck, I hope this helps. What I would do first, is take your old transformer, and either have it tested, or if you have a volt/ohm meter see if it is putting out between 22 to 26 volts. If it is then it is probably the controller itself, if it isn't putting out the correct voltage, then you can try a new one. Any Irrigation supply house should be able to sell you a new one. It should be 24volt and 0.5 amps. Good luck and let me know if I can help you out anymore.
