HOW DO I TAKE A CUTTING AND HOW DO I GET IT TO ROOT

Hi Sheila,
Thanx for your question.  California Lilac (Ceonothus) can be propagated from seed, soak for 12 hours in warm water and then place in a damp paper towel, seal inside a plastic baggie and place in the fridge for 90 days to break dormancy.
