Hi Nick,
I just read the question and answer about removing seed pods.  My question is can you use what's inside the seed pods to propagate new palms?  If not, how are they propagated?  Thanks so much.

Hi Susan, actually the seeds themselves will germinate, but the process and ensuing palm is so slow going, that it is more feasable to get an established pindo (or any palm for that matter) at a nursery; we just arn't here long enough on gods green earth to wait to appreciate them using this method.
