Is fertilization every 6 months sufficient.

QUESTION: They are almost 4 years old

Answer
The fronds turning brown is usually a problem with too much moisture at the root ball, make sure they are not being over watered, and fertilizing should be done 3 times a year with a well balanced palm fertilizer with all the micro nurtients such as magnesium sulphate and iron etc. 4 year old palms this time of year can pretty much be left alone as far as irrigation goes, only during the dry season do they need attention.
