So I read a reply to a question you answered last year regarding honeydew and I'm just wondering.. because I have that problem this year what causes it... besides the bugs... is it a cooler summer??? Will it go away without treatment?

Honeydew is secreted by an insect that sucks the plant juices from the plant. Until the insects stop feeding or is killed the honeydew will continue. Cooler weather like the Fall and winter will kill the aphids type insects but scale type are not usually bothered by cold weather.
