My Lilly is dying

Question
I got this plant around 8 years ago from my father's funeral.  I know it is a type of lilly.  My mother says it's an Easter Lilly.  It has been doing great until this year.  It was at my mother's house in another state until about a year or 2 ago.  I keep it in my kitchen where it is not too bright, not too dark.  It's not near the stove or anything, so the temp should be average.  I've kept it in the one corner of my kitchen, but it seemed to be doing well in front of the window on the frontside of my house, but ever since I moved it to the window on the side of my house (But same corner) and I put a pantry in front of the other window, it has been dying off a bit.  It has not bloomed at all this year which is disappointing.  BTW - I keep blinds on my windows.

I'm not sure what other things I should say about it to give you an idea of what may be wrong.

How do I know (FOR SURE) what kind of Lilly it is?

How do I bring it back to life, or actually just make it more lively and BLOOM?

Do you think I'm keeping it on the wrong side of my house or something?  I know some plants prefer to be facing a certain way.  Could that be the problem with this?

Thanks so much for your time.  I look forward to your response.

Answer
Tiffani,

Has your lilly went through a dormant period in the last year?  To know for sure if it is an Easter Lilly go to Google and put in Easter Lilly then click. Then click on images and look at the pictures and compare the pictures to your plant.  Then let me know if you think it is an Easter Lilly.

Also let me know about the last dormant period that it has had. Also let me know the State and City that you live in.
