House plant identification

Question

tree
Darlene:
I hate to bother you with a plant identification, but if I could have found it on the internet, I wouldn't be asking. I have recently been interested in knowing exactly what plants I have so that I can take better care of them. This one has stumped me!

I bought this house plant which is more like small tree (about 4 ft tall right now but has branches cut) from Home Depot a few years ago. It has barely grown upwards, but is very full of leaves that seem to branch off each other. There was no loss of foliage in the winter. Hopefully the picture(s) can help you.

Thanks!

Answer
Clare,

It is a Ming Aralia, Latin Name: Polyscias fruticosa. They are fairly easy but do sometimes get aphids. The following site has good care info: http://www.plantcare.com/encyclopedia/ming-aralia-826.aspx
If you have more questions feel free to wwrite again. Good luck.

Darlene
