Plant Identification?

Question
Hi Will,

I'm not sure if you're the one to ask about this, but I couldn't find anyone else on AllExperts who seemed more qualified.

I have recently seen a plant in a business office which I thought was very interesting, and would like to learn more about, and also acquire a couple for my home.  Unfortunately, no one at the office seemed to know what kind of plant it was.  I have tried searching online, and also looking for it in local plant nurseries, all to no avail.  I was wondering if you might know what it is?  I have two photos I took of the plant, but I'm not sure if AllExperts allows images to be sent along with questions... I don't see that option anywhere on this page.  All i can really tell you is that the leaves have asynchronous thin red stripes branching out from the center area, which is a yellow-green.  The leaves themselves are green, a somewhat pointed oval shape, and have a somewhat shiny, waxy type of appearance and texture.  It was a live plant though, not plastic.

Thank you so much for any assistance which you may be able to offer.

Answer
Hi Mick,

A quick guess based on your limited description is that the plant is question is a Croton.

There is way to post photos on this site, but I cannot provide directions for you - my expertise is limited to indoor plants! However, you can also email photos to me directly at [email protected].
