How Come some leucophyllas have a really wide mouth and some dont? will a sarracenia titan eventually get really wider big pitchers?

Hi Robert,

Like most Sarracenia species, they have quite a bit of variability across their range.  Individual populations can look very different.

How big S. leucophylla "Titan" depends on where you live.  If you live where summers are hot, with warm nights, you should see nice big pitchers.  I've found here in the Pacific Northwest, where summer nights are cool, they are virtually indistinguishable from the typical variety.  They don't grow any larger than normal here.
