hi

Question
its almost halloween and i have alot of sarracenia and i normally grow them outside but it`s really windy outside and it keeps pushing over my plants is it ok to grow them in my room

Answer
Hi Chris,

Sarracenia are native to North America, so they're temperate plants.  These types of plants need to go dormant in winter, very much like other plants that grow outside, such as roses, maple trees, and irises.  We're strong advocates of over wintering North American carnivorous plants outdoors whenever possible.  If the wind is knocking your plants over, simply move them to a more sheltered area.

Good growing!
