I find some brown spots on Calandiva Stem. Can you tell me what this is ? Is it dangerous, what should I do ?

I have to respond to your question or they will tell me I have questions pending.  The spots do not look like insects, but more of an environmental situation.  I do not think they are dangerous, but watch them to see if they spread of get larger.  If they do, please respond back and we will determine what it is.  Thanks.
