irrigation system wont turn on

Question
What has changed in my system?
I have a Rainbird ESP-4TM, running a little 3 station lawn that worked fine a couple months ago.  I turned the system off through our winter months.  I just tried to run a manual system check and NOTHING HAPPENED!  No air escaping the lines, no water.  The controller appears to be working normally, keeping time and responding to my commands and adjustments.  With a couple freezes in the last few weeks (central Florida), is there something else I should be checking?  Fuse is ok. Controller is ok. Should I be focusing on the remote control valve?  Thank you.

Answer
Hey Michael, what I would suggest, is go to your automatic valves, and there should be a bleed screw on it, if you unscrew the screw about 1/2 a turn, you should get water to bleed out of the valve, and it should open up for you. If you don't get any water out of the valve bleed screw, then you either have a frozen line or your main valve is not turned on. If you get water through the valve bleed screw, then I would suggest checking your controller, to make sure it is working properly. Try this first, and then let me know what you find out. Thanks and have a great day.
