Hurricane damaged queen palm

Question
After Ike, one of the queen palms had the center stalk snap in half.  The palm still has a dozen or so palm fronds.  The part that snapped was where the new fronds grow.  Will the tree survive, or should I take it out before it dies and falls?

Answer
Mike, if the frond broke in half, and the lower half is still emerging or at least is still attached to the palm itself, then it should be ok,,usually when a center frond declines because of disease or insect infestation and the entire frond is kaput, then the palm is kaput, but if the damage is from wind and it just breaks the frond then the rest will emerge and eventually another will come out.
