Night Blooming Jasmine pests

Question
With regards to night blooming jasmine and catepillars, is is possible that the offending catepillar is a bougainvillea looper?  Both my jasmine and my bougainvillea tree seem to get attacked on the same nights, although they far apart in the yard?  If it is a looper, or for that matter, any other caterpillar, will BT work?

Answer
Hi Denise, I am not an Emtomologist, but I do know that it is indeed a night feeding catepilla that is the culprit, be it a "Looper" or other, I can't say; BT will work or do what I do, and use Bayer Rose and Flower systemic, for they spend the day in the ground around the base, and the systemic will be taken up into the plant, so when they feed the ensuing night, its lights out!.....Nick:)
