night blooming

Question
My night blooming cereus was hit by an early frost. if I trim the plant to good
greenery will it still be okay through the dormant winter?  What else can I do to
help it?

Answer
Susan,

Trim it down to good greenery and keep it in a warm sunny location. Keep it on the dry side and give it an encouraging word frequently, saying a prayer for it won't hurt. Sun and dry will do the most good. In march give it a dose of fertilizer and after that treat it normally. Good luck.
