Question
I  recently planted florida sunset ixora.
We do have below freezing temps, will it survive and what can I do to help it survive. I think north texas is a zone 7.

Hi Barbara, zone 7 is marginal at best for this sub-tropical, but if you cover it real well with a frost blanket during nights that dip below  freezing, then you should be alright, providing the temps stay above those that will freeze the ground, then all bets are off. Nick
