moving to Florida, from Michigan

Question
I have Mandevilla,Brugsmansia, and Datura, and a Hibiscus.... also Martha
Washington
Geraniums......how shall I treat them to move to Florida end of October? They
are all in pots now, however, to spare space when traveling,,,,,take from dirt?
then plant in Florida? whew, can't bear to leave them behind.....

Answer
Hi Jacie, and welcome to the sunshine state!...take them all out of their pots and (after pruning them way back) and pack them in sphagnum moss (moist)or peat moss in plastic bags, that way they can be moved easier with no fuss, just make sure you repot them a quickly as possible on your arrival...Nick
