transplanting burning bushes

Question
My daughter is going to dig up her burning bushes in       a week or two. I want to transplant them to my yard but it will be two days after she digs them up before I can get them and plant them in my yard.  Will they be okay under those circumstances.  The bushes are mature ( 10 ) years old.  We live in northeast Mo.  The bushes have been receiving no special care.

Answer
Keith,
The euonymus will be fine for two days. While they are waiting to be planted, try to keep the roots moist and cover them with mulch. This will prevent them from drying out and dying. After they are planted, fertilize them lightly to encourage new root growth.
Good luck.
