Question
I have two or three burning  bushes in my front yard that I would like to transplant into my backyard.  I read that it is best done in the early spring.  I think I have missed that time frame.  My bushes are already budding and I am wondering if I should have done this before they budded or do I now need to wait until all the leaves are fully grown?  I live in Northeastern Ohio.  Thank you for you time.

Hi Janet,
Thanx for your question.  Yes, the best time to transplant burning bushes is in the early spring but you still have time.  I would get to it this week or next before it starts getting too warm so there is less stress on the plant.  I hope this helps.
