Howdy guys need to know if it is possible to split the root on these plants and still get them to grow. Thank you

Oookaay -  Depending on how big the root ball is - yes, you could possibly divide the plant as you suggest.  Just make sure that the two parts have as much root intact as possible.  Plant them immediately and water in really well and be aware that the plants may go into shock for while, as this is a pretty radical operation.  Give them plenty of TLC for the first growing season.  Good luck...
