Burning bush has spots

Question
I have a row of 13 burning bushes that were planted last July.  They are all close to 3ft tall and are in full sun on south side of home on a hill with a lot of water run off.  They are also watered 7am for 10 minutes.  We live in Detroit area.
They all looked fine last year and in the spring but I just noticed that several were turning red already and dropping leaves.  On closer inspection I noticed that all of the leaves were yellowish with red blotches all over the leaf.  Several others have yellow to whitish leaves with white dots surrounded by red.  These plants are putting on new baby leaves.
I also noticed that all trunks have a whitish/green circular discoloration running up them.  I really would hate to lose these beautiful  large bushes.  Can you offer suggestions?

Answer
Carrie,
There are two problems that I can see. First you need to water the plants more- they are going into drought stress, which is bringing on problem number two- Spider mites.
I would recommend increasing the watering to at least 30 minutes every 2- 3 days depend on temperatures and rainfall. Also spray the plants with miticide to control these damaging insects.
Good luck.
