Strong wind has snapped two of my roses of at main stem 100mm above the ground I have put them in a bucket of water can they re-root or be saved

Hello Brian,

Unfortunately, being snapped that high up, the wood is too thick and would not root.  If they are grafted, the plant should put out new canes at the proper growing time.

Sorry to hear they snapped.  It is always an aggravation when they have done so well only to be broken.
