Graphing a Rose bush

Question
I have a georgeous pink rose bush with very large flowers. I want to know how to make two seperate plants out one. HJow do I do this?

Answer
Rose bushes are started with what is called an understock and it is grown for a year in the field. Then they take a modern rose and bud it onto the understock rose. When the top rose has started to grow they then cut off the growth from the understock. So what you end up with is a stem with a other rose on top of it. It is not successful to divide a rose bush. However you can try cuttings from a rose bush. Here is a really good site that will tell you how to do it.
