Identifying flower by its seeds

Question

Orange flower
We had a large organge flower in a bouquet which, when it shed its petals left the seeds behind.
Can you identify the flower by these seeds?

Answer
Hi Brien,
Thanx for your question.  That's a tough questions but, if you will go to Google Images and type in Protea, I think you will find your flower.  If not, let me know and give me a broader description of the flower.  Usually, proteas (native to South Africa) will be placed in large bouquets as the central flower because of their size and their bright colors which are usually bright reds, oranges and yellows.  I hope this helps.
Tom
