how do seeds that grow vegetables get put on the shelves of stores. because i know that before there were stores, they grew vegetables... but how did they get the seeds?

Answer
The production of seeds is the last stage in the life cycle of a plant. Once a flower is spent, it produces a seed pod. Inside the pod are literally hundreds of seeds. These are harvested and then prepared for packaging in the fall. Once the seed is planted and germinates, it decomposes in the soil.
