Flower seeds

Question
I am looking for a reference book / information that will be similar or the equivalent of "SEED TO SEED" by Suzanne Ashworth. In case you aren't familiar with it, it's a complete seed-saving guide that describes specific techniques for saving the seeds of 160 different vegetables. ...

Please pass on any ideas.

Happy New Year.

Answer
Hi Randi,
Thanx for your question.  I really don't have a book such as Seed-to-Seed although I've heard of it.  Generally, I've learned over the years through experience how to identify and save certain seeds.  If I have any doubts, I just go on line and Google the plant to see what kind of information I can find about identifying the seed, when the flower blooms, when the seeds ripen, etc.  There are a lot of seed saving books out there and I keep saying I'm going to buy one and still haven't gotten around to it yet.  I've been fortunate enough to be able to figure out where the seeds are and then collect them and save them for the next season.  I'm sorry I don't have anything more comprehensive for you.  I learned a lot about seed saving on Gardenweb.com in their seed exchange fora and by surfing the web.  I hope this helps.
Tom
