Hi Bruce,
Thanx for your question.  Silver mound is a name coined for a number of different forms of artemesia.  Most of these artemesias will be hardy between zones 4 and 8.  You are probably either in Zone 5 or 6.  So, in general, you should be okay.  Do you know what kind of silver mound you have?  I hope this helps.
