Identify this plant

Question
Hello, I hope you can help me. I have this plant that has moved with me twice about died several times but still keeps kicking. It seems to be a vine type houseplant. Its foilage is about 3 inches long, has a deep color. has jagged edges. The edges are a purpleish color. The edges are not sharp. They just come to a point, kinda like a shark fin. The limbs are brown and very sturdy. I have not seen any kind of flowering from it. It grows well in medium sunlight and water when dried out. I appreciate any help you can give me. I have had thi plant for about 6 years and I would love to know the name of it. I have pictures if you need them. Thank You very much!

Answer
Hi Wes-Leigh,

I suspect you may have a velvet plant or Gynura scandens. However, I cannot be sure without a photo or additional information.

If this is NOT what you have, please tell me how yours differs or send me a photo.
