identify a plant

Question
I have a plant that has a big bulb on the top of the dirt in a pot.  There are 3 stems from the base, one is about 13 inches high with green leaves growing from the stem.  I have seen blooms on this during the summer.  The color was in the red family.  I brought in inside recently because of the change in weather.  I wanted to find out what this is called so that I can take care of it.  I have been looking a various pictures but have not been able to find out what this is.  Can you assist?

Answer
Camilla,

My best guess from your description would be Adenium obesum or Desert Rose which comes in a variety of colors from Pink to red. If you just brought it in I hope you live in a tropical area. Google "Adenium obesum" and click on photos and see if that is your plant. If it is let me know and I will give you some care advice.

If it is not please email me a digital picture to my private email, [email protected]. I will identify it for you then. Also please let me know where you live.
