QUESTION: i have two small aloe plants and they are planted in the same pot. recently i have noticed the leaves turning brown even though its in a sunny window. do you have any idea what i am doing wrong? thank you

The only reasons that aloes turn brown are too little water. Too much water would make them turn black and mushy. A 4" pot is rather large for just 2 little aloes but I doubt that is the problem. Try watering them a bit more often and see if that helps. Make sure they are in a south, east or west facing window. I would not fertilize them for the time being and if you want to later get some fertilizer for cacti available at Walmart or Kmart. Good luck.
