science experiment

Question
The science experiment is about if a plant can survive in milk or soda for example or other liquids that might keep it alive, but not just water.

Answer
Hi Jesus,

I wouldn't use carnivorous plants for an experiment like this since they are fairly atypical in their nutrient uptake compared to other plants.  Since they need to be watered with mineral-free water, and get very grumpy if they have minerals or fertilizer in their soil, you can probably make a very safe hypothesis about what will happen if they are watered with milk, or highly acidic soda.  They are also much more expensive than hundreds of other plants.  Something fast growing with a wide range of soil tolerance would give you better information an such and experiment.

Good Growing!
