Question
My snowball tree was covered with snowballs but now the leaves have gone brown and lacy looking. This happened last year but the tree came again this year. I don't know quite what to do. Would appreciate your help.

Hi Iris, Leaf beetles could be causing the problem.  Your tree will keep doing this unless you spray with an insecticidal spray.  At our nursery I use Atomic Grow or Pure Neem Oil spray by Dyna Grow.  Both are organic and better to use than a poison spray that could harm you as well.  kathy
