Question
What can i use to kill the grass  from under my decks for long periods of time or for ever. Is their a homemade remedy or a store bought grass killer that would work the best. I just want something that I know would works. So could you give me some advice on this an what you would try.

Hi James;
When we put in our deck, it shaded the yard underneath completely, and the grass died, then I threw in cedar bark mulch to cover about an inch deep, to keep away insects, including termites.
If your boards in your deck separate enough for sunlight to get in, then I would suggest covering it with black landscape cloth and 3 inches of cedar bark mulch. That will kill it out, because it will block the sun.
