Question
I installed "WaterMaster-by Orbit" two-inch POPUP water sprinkler heads for my lawn in San Francisco Bay area, CA.

The spay angle is larger than that indicated on the sprinkler specifications, e.g. for 1/2 circle, the pattern obtained is about 220 degrees.  

What is the cause of this and do you have any suggestions for obtaining more precise pattern sprays - e.g. other sprinkler models, how to repair (clean?) those already installed.

Any suggestions will be greatly appeciated.

Lou,see if you can find a rainbird,toro, or hunter spray head with an adjustable nozzle. These will have a collar that you can turn and get any pattern from full circle to all the way shut .
