TWO sprinkler zones running at once

Question
Jeff, please help.  We had our yard tilled because of take all fungus.  After the guys left, our sprinkler runs two zones at once, even if one zone has no time programmed.  Of course the water pressure wasnt good to start with (cheap job dont by homebuilder) but with two zones running at once, there is very little coverage.  Could you tell me what the guy tilling might have done and what I need to do to do to get it repaired?  thank you very much.   Paula

Answer
Somehow the wire from the controller to the valves has been damaged or crosswired or something.  The person tilling the yard may have nicked the wire or tried to repair it or who knows what, but the result is that it is not working right. You can look at the valves to see how they are wired.  There should be two wires to each valve.  It may be that the wires have been connected wrong.  If this doesnt work you may want to run new wires from the controller to the valves.  If you dont know how to do this, get a local landscaper to help you or to do it for you.
