Question
I have a rain dial system and i just turned it on for the season.
I manually checked each zone, however zone one will not shut off when i skip to the other zones. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, you will need to find the valve and clean it. There is probably some type of contaminant in it. This is not uncommon on systems that are shut down for a long period of time. A piece of scale or rust has found it way into the system and locked open the valve.
it maybe just the solenoid that needs to be removed and cleaned, sometime just the act of digging it up will knock the contaminant loose.
